Providing Short Term Disability (STD) is a benefit important to employees because injuries and illnesses can happen to anyone any time. With Kansas City Life Insurance Company, employers can choose specialized plans to meet their needs while staying within their budget.

Employers have a choice between a 13- or 26-week benefit duration and options of benefit percentages, maximums and elimination periods.

Some features include:

• Funding options which include noncontributory, contributory and voluntary
• Flat, incremental or percent of salary plans
• Various elimination periods ranging from first day to 31st day for accident and eighth day to 31st day for sickness
